Dozens of protesters gathered outside of the 18th of October Uprising Political Prisoner Coordination office, demanding the release of political prisoners from the jails of Santiago and the rest of Chile for participating in the October Rebellion, with many having been imprisoned for more than a year.

Thousands of protesters in Athens marched following police repression against students at the Thessaloniki Aristotle University, demanding the repeal of a law passed by the Ministry of Education allowing police to return to campus for the first time in decades. Demonstrators marched to Parliament, although avoiding clashes that had previously occurred in student demonstrations against the same law.
Protesters mobilized in the region of Coquimbo at the Elqui Valley in defense of the flow of the Río Claro, demanding that plans to develop the region and develop power plants be overturned for the sake of the area’s environment.
