Riots took place in the Polish town of Lubin after a police officer murdered a young man under arrest, asphyxiating him by placing a knee on his neck. Hundreds arrived at the local police station, chanting “Murderers!” and hurling rocks and Molotov cocktails at riot police. At the end of the day, more than 50 arrests were made.
