Revolution Now Protests in Nigeria Grow Steadily

#RevolutionNow protests in Nigeria continued throughout the 17th, and grew drastically. From a small movement that had hundreds of protesters, thousands of demonstrators marched through Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, and other cities. Protesters also attacked the motorcade of a governor whose police forces had killed several unarmed and peaceful protesters.

Anonymous Cyberattacks

Anonymous attacked and took down the websites of the Nigerian State House, INEC, and EFCC.

Abuja

Protesters in Nigeria marched through Berger in the center of the city and also closed all ports of entry.

Calabar

Ibadan

Protesters in Ibadan shut down the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

Lagos

Protesters in Lagos called for the resignation of Buhari and the immediate end of SWAT as well as police reform.

Osogbo

Protesters in Osogbo attacked the motorcade of the governor of Osun State, whose police forces murdered peaceful protesters and injured dozens of others.
