Protests Occur Across North America in Solidarity With Nigeria

Multiple protests occurred in solidarity with Nigeria and the End SARS/SWAT movement, in Houston, Portland, and Toronto. Attendance ranged from a dozen people to more than a thousand during the protests.

Houston

The Nigerian diaspora organized a protest that turned out about 50 people in solidarity.

Portland

A dozen protesters went to the Portland protest, which was a candle vigil for those killed during the Lekki Toll Gate massacre.

Toronto

Over a thousand protesters occupied the streets of Toronto, demanding a condemnation of the Lekki Toll Gate massacre from the Canadian government.
