Protesters across Peru have continued to take to the streets across the country for a second day, with demonstrations and marches concentrated in Lima and Miraflores. Demonstrators call for the resignation of interim-President Merino and the re-institution of former President Vizcarra.
Around 30 Greek anarchists returned to the streets of Livadia in solidarity with the Koufontinas hunger strike, gathering at the town hall and marching through the city center while dropping leaflets and cards.

Police attacked the demonstrations in several cities, leading to widespread clashes throughout the night.
Abolish ICE protesters gathered at the facility in Bergen County, New Jersey in solidarity with a hunger strike going on there for weeks demanding cleaner conditions; rat infestations and undrinkable water are rife at the facility. Dozens of protesters took to the streets of Elizabeth City for an 8th consecutive day, following the police shooting of Andrew Brown. Despite demonstrations remaining entirely peaceful, police arrested several participants and stopped the protest with dozens of militarized officers on the scene.
