Thousands of health workers and their allies began a march from the coastal city of Valparaiso to the National Congress in Santiago, with the aim of occupying the area as a sign of defiance. The demonstrators did not let up, and the protest grew the longer distance that those inside it traveled.

Thousands of Albanian protesters returned to the streets for a 6th day following the police murder of 25-year-old Klodian Rasha for buying cigarettes past curfew. Demonstrators lit cars on fire and threw Molotovs at police who deployed tear gas, flashbang grenades, and water cannons in response. At least 20 arrests were made.
Dozens of protesters marched for a 2nd day in Rochester after the perpetrators of Daniel Prude’s murder, several police officers, were not charged. Prude had been suffocated after police put a hood over his head in March 2020, which started massive protests after body camera footage of the incident came out.
