Protesters and Chilean Police Clash in Valparaíso During Demonstration in Solidarity With Political Prisoners

Over 100 protesters took to the streets of Valparaíso to demand the release of all political prisoners of the social uprising in Chile that began in 2019. Demonstrators burned barricades and blocked roads, but were quickly met by a small army of law enforcement vehicles that shot tear gas and water cannons, in response to which the crowd threw rocks and Molotov cocktails.
