Protesters took to the streets in Paris against new quarantine measures, feared to cause the closure of many businesses. Insofar, the Macron administration has refused to provide a stimulus, leading to protests across France. Clashes occurred in other cities, but none had occurred in Paris.

Greek anarchists demonstrated outside of the Evangelismos Hospital (Νοσοκομείο Ευαγγελισμός), in the Athenian neighborhood in solidarity with those struggling to contain the pandemic. Several medical workers joined them in a wildcat strike outside of the hospital, demanding housing, healthcare, and education for all.
