Protesters took to the streets of Portland and Vancouver for a 138th day, demanding justice for Kevin Peterson and the arrest of the officers responsible. Demonstrators smashed in many windows as they marched, before arriving at the Washington State Patrol crime headquarters, taking down the American flag, and burning it. A car also drove through the crowd in Portland, nearly hitting many protesters. There was also a confrontation between Patriot Prayer and demonstrators, with a brawl nearly breaking out.

Dozens of protesters marched in Elizabeth City for a 5th day following the police murder of Andrew Brown, who was shot in the head by police with assault rifles near his home. Demonstrators blocked roads and moved through wealthy neighborhoods to continue to try to place pressure on the city government to release the body cameras.
Greek communists and anarchists in Athens tagged graffiti and dropped banners across the city in solidarity with Aytaç Ünsal, a Turkish lawyer arrested for connections to the Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party/Front (DHKP-C), a Marxist-Leninist insurgent organization. He was recently released from a 13-year sentence after going on a death fast for 213 days, a week after his colleague Ebru Timtik died after 238 days.
Thousands of protesters converged on al-Haboubi Square in Nasiriyah, to protest against the Iraqi government’s repression of anti-corruption activists and the implementation of a curfew in several cities. Riot police then opened fire on the protesters, and, bizarrely, the Iraqi military began exchanging gunfire with riot police, resulting in at least 1 death on each side.
Hundreds of anarchists and socialists marched in Granada to demand the release of Pablo Hasel, a communist Catalan rapper arrested and facing charges for insulting the Spanish monarchy. Protesters placed and burned barricades, clashing with police who chased after the crowd.
