Anarchists in Thessaloniki gathered to protest in solidarity with Dimitris Koufontinas, a former member of the 17 November revolutionary group who went on hunger strike starting on the 8th of January, demanding his transfer to the Korydallos prison in Athens which would allow him to see visitors and receive adequate medical treatment.
A heavy police buildup arrived at the demonstration, detaining 7 participants without clause of arrest, later releasing them.

Protesters in Belarus organized a march in Minsk that held an attendance of more than 100,000 people to precede other demonstrations later in the day. The march was held between 10 A.M. and 3 P.M., moving like water so that the police could not capture protesters. Few arrests were recorded during the march, and secret police were repulsed.
Anarchists in Berlin protested inside the offices of broadcaster Deutsche Welle, demanding that the German media group cover the ongoing Koufontinas hunger strike which has been mostly ignored by media groups outside of Greece.
Around 4000 protesters in Athens marched in solidarity with the Dimitris Koufontinas hunger strike, first gathering in front of Parliament at Syntagma Square and then marching to Omonia, chanting slogans against the Greek state and carrying banners in support of 17 November.
Hundreds of protesters in the Washington D.C. neighborhood of Chinatown marched against violence targeted at Asians following a mass shooting of massage parlors that led to the deaths of 6 Asian women and 2 others. Organizers called for the decriminalization of sex work, police abolition, and the end of US and western neocolonialism in Asia.
