Police Attack Students Protesting Against Reintroduction of Police to Universities in Patras

Dozens of Greek students and anarchists in Patras gathered at Georgiou Square to protest against a new law proposed by the Ministry of Education, which would return police to campuses for the first time since the fall of the military dictatorship. Police kettled the protesters, and deployed tear gas, forcing them to disperse.
