Protesters in Onitsha, south of Abuja in Nigeria, blockaded the city’s gates and burned down its police station on the 21st in protest against the Lekki Toll Gate massacre and its fallout across the country.
Protests occurred in Philadelphia in advance of a rally that Trump will be holding to re-elect him as President of the United States, with about 300-500 protesters gathering to demonstrate against the rally occurring. The rally took place to address his plans to end police brutality in front of undecided voters.
Dozens of protesters gathered in Paris in solidarity with migrants being evicted from their camp by the French police, with many being assaulted, a journalist among them. Police violently tore up tents as protesters chanted ‘No Justice, No Peace!’ After police exited the area, activists and migrants cheered them off, before returning to tear-gas and attack activists and refugees.
