Native Otomi Mexicans Occupy National Institute of Indigenous Peoples

Members of the Otomi indigenous central Mexican group occupied the National Institute of Indigenous Peoples and burnt files and furniture of the building. The reason cited was that the government failed to accept their demands to end pro-corporate megaprojects in Santiago Mexquititlán.
