Thousands of antifascists gathered in Marseille in opposition to the Global Security Law, marching through the neighborhood of Zineb and passing through the Regional Council building before dispersing at the Port of Vieux with clashes occurring between protesters and police and tear gas deployed around the Canebière police station. Demonstrators chanted “Everyone hates the police!” [“Tout, le monde, deteste la police!”] and other anti-cop slogans.
