About 150 activists gathered outside of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s mansion to demand that Biden not consider him for any cabinet positions, notably Secretary of Transportation. Riot police almost immediately moved in, with demonstrators making noise outside his home and dispersing soon after.
Hundreds of inmates in the St. Louis Justice Center protested for court dates, breaking windows and setting objects on fire to demand a trial for many detained in the facility, some of which have gone without a date set for their charges for well over a year.
Around 35 protesters took to the streets of Brooklyn after the Rochester police officers who killed Daniel Prude were not charged. In response to the small march, a miniature army of about 50 New York Police Department officers gathered at the site and made 8-10 arrests.

Police in the El Codito neighborhood of Usaquén in Northern Bogota opened fire at a jitney van, or unlicensed transport service, full of people, killing one minor and injuring 2 others. Later in the day, hundreds of protesters gathered outside of the local CAI police substation and were then attacked by ESMAD riot police.
