Hundreds of protesters in Thessaloniki marched against imperialism, demanding that the government exit from NATO and the EU. Demonstrators held banners with insignias of Greece’s communist party, KKE, and the splinter group KKE (M-L).

Anarchists in Volos dropped a banner in solidarity with the imprisoned comrade Dimitris Koufontinas, who entered a hunger strike to demand the release of all non-felon prisoners and decontamination of prisons across Greece.
Hundreds of protesters in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli returned to the streets for a 2nd day of demonstrations against a curfew and lockdown enacted without any stimulus, which has led to many people working illegally. The military of Lebanon arrived on the scene after a militia’s headquarters were attacked, arresting several youths who did not disperse but rather regrouped around areas devoid of law enforcement.
Protesters demonstrated for a second night after the police-involved killing of Karon Hylton outside of a DC precinct, with Hylton’s family attending and being tear-gassed and pepper-sprayed by police. Protesters began to employ fireworks as a means of deterring police, with over 10 injuries from firework strikes over the night.
Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Barranquilla, as part of a general strike stretching for a 4th day in opposition to new tax hikes on basic goods and services as well as the privatization of healthcare. Police attacked the peaceful demonstration with water cannons, dispersing the crowd through the city center and injuring several people.
