Hundreds of protesters returned to the streets of Girona to demand freedom and amnesty for Pablo Hasel, a left-wing Catalan rapper facing charges for criticizing the monarchy of Spain, the Bourbon royal family. Demonstrators burned barricades and clashed with police, who attempted unsuccessfully to quell the gathering.

Workers from the CMR Falabella bank in Arica went on strike, joining the Paro Nacional currently ongoing in Chile. The reasons for the strike included a salary cut, an increased workload, and a loss of benefits. The strike has gained support among customers due to the transnational nature of the company, which is not approved of in the country.
Police have not killed anyone more since the September 12th update, but ~50 more injuries have occurred as well as several dozen arrests. Protesters are consolidating their areas of control over Bogota, and are still in the streets in Bucaramanga and Medellin. Protests have also been sparked by allegations of sexual violence against arrested women in Bogota.
