Hundreds in Asunción Protest for 4th Day Against Government Corruption & Healthcare Collapse

Hundreds of protesters in Asunción returned to the streets for a 4th consecutive day to demand the resignation of President Marito Abdo, following the collapse of the healthcare system in Paraguay after $1.6 billion mysteriously disappeared, so severe that elective surgeries, including appendix removals, were suspended, and medicine remained at a critical low. Police attacked protesters, forcing them to disperse with tear gas and water cannons.
