Huge Turnout Arrives for Block Garcetti Protest Day 14

Protesters returned to the house of LA Mayor Eric Garcetti the day after a protest was attacked by the LAPD, resulting in many injuries. Turnout was far higher this time, and the local Roofers 36 union arrived to condemn the events of the previous day.

Over 200 protesters had arrived with vans present, preceding speeches given out by organizers. Towards the end of the protest, marchers chanted “Ey, yo fuck Garcetti!” before dispersing for the day.

Many took note of the lack of police officers in the demonstration, not a single one. Organizers suspect that Garcetti realized how bad of a show the previous day had been, and so took away all risk of the same events happening again.
