Dozens of members of PAME, the Workers’ Militant Front, protested outside of the Parliament in Athens while socially distanced and with masks, demanding a more people-oriented budget instead of continuing to push austerity in surrender to the European Union.
Around 80 protesters marched in Xanthi in solidarity with Dimitris Koufontinas, a former member of the 17 November left-wing urban guerilla who entered a hunger strike on the 8th of January to demand his return to the Korydallos prison in Athens, where he would once again be able to see his family and other visitors.

Demonstrators in the Kurin Sarjangal village near Zahedan took to the streets against the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps following the massacre of 37 fuel traders at the border. One person was killed and one wounded during clashes with security agents in the area, who fired directly at protesters in an attempt to kill.
