Greek anarchists in Kavala dropped a banner at Faliro Park, in solidarity with imprisoned comrade Dimitris Koufontinas, demanding immediate decontamination of prisons and release of all nonfelons, under a campaign of Inmate Lives Matter.
Hundreds of protesters in Sudan took to the streets on the anniversary of the end of the Khartoum Massacre in 2019, in which police and the military killed over 128 protesters and injured thousands during a sit-in at the nation’s capital. On the anniversary, demonstrators lit tires and blocked roads to demand the fulfillment of concessions demanded from the new government.
Dozens of Loyalist youth in Newtownabbey, north of Belfast, rioted against the creation of a customs process for goods being transported between Great Britain and North Ireland, which would disrupt the Loyalist drug trade. Cars were burned by the youth and petrol bombs were thrown at police as well, including an instance where one person set himself on fire.
Hundreds of anticapitalist students marched in Paris to demand the reopening of universities with social distancing protocols in place in order to alleviate the psychological distress and mental disorders beginning to set in on the global population of youth, who have been forced to learn from home due to COVID.
