Indians occupied & blockaded the Chandor Railroad near Goa after learning of deforestation going on nearby. Railroads have been blockaded and trains stopped from transporting coal, hampering the efforts of deforestation in the vicinity of Goa. Over 2,000 protesters took part in the demonstration.
Dozens of students in the northwestern Greek city of Ioannina took to the streets during a national mobilization against a bill proposed by Education Minister Niki Kerameos, which would remilitarize university campuses with an elite police squad. Despite a ban on gatherings in place, police did not attack the demonstration.
Families of the victims of the Beirut port bombing gathered in front of the Palace of Justice, placing and burning barricades to demand convictions for the lack of responsibility which led to the deaths of 158 people and the injuries of over 7000.

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Santiago in support of the political prisoners of the 2019 uprising in Chile, as well as anarchist and Mapuche insurgents. Demonstrators chased off police in Plaza Dignidad, who then returned and used water cannons and tear gas on the peaceful crowd.
