Activists gathered near Oakland at a houseless camp between Mosswood park and the highway in response to a presence of police and CalTrans workers at the scene, appearing to be carrying out an eviction. As demonstrators consolidated their presence, CalTrans workers left, and the houseless camp itself was left alone.
Anarchists paid a visit to the space where the Metropolitan Republican Club of New York would later be holding a meeting, drawing the anarchist circle-a, laying body bags on the floor, and writing “YOU’RE CANCELLED” on the doors of the building in anticipation for the later event which would host many prominent Republicans.
Workers in the Tolpán Wind Farm (Parque Eolico Tolpán), of the Acciona enterprise, near Concepción, went on strike for better working conditions and demanding more frequent paychecks. They set up barricades on the road, joining the general strike that began in the country.
