Dozens of protesters returned to the streets of San Juan, demanding the withdrawal of plans to privatize electricity in the American colony of Puerto Rico. Demonstrators blocked roads and yelled chants against the Luma corporation, which would soon assume the responsibilities of the island’s electricity.

Over 100 protesters took to the streets of Valparaíso to demand the release of all political prisoners of the social uprising in Chile that began in 2019. Demonstrators burned barricades and blocked roads, but were quickly met by a small army of law enforcement vehicles that shot tear gas and water cannons, in response to which the crowd threw rocks and Molotov cocktails.
Around 150-200 students gathered in front of the Propylaea in Athens to protest against a law passed by the Ministry of Education which would enable police to enter universities for the first time in 1975. The demonstration was forced to disperse, however, after police blocked anyone from entering the road.
Dozens of protesters gathered in a suburb of Minneapolis after the death of Dolal Idd, a 23-year-old son of Somali immigrants shot in a parking lot for possessing a gun. Despite being small in number, the protest occupied Hopkins Crossroads and shut down most access to the West Metro for an extended period of time.
