Dozens of Colombian protesters in Bucaramanga gathered to commemorate the lives of two Industrial University of Santander students studying social work, Manuela Betancourt and Angie Paola Cruz, victims of femicide on the 7th of February in 2020 at the hands of Argemiro Urrego.
Hundreds of protesters gathered in front of the cathedral in Santiago at the Plaza de Armas, demanding amnesty for all political prisoners of the 18th of October Uprising. Many family members of those caged for months in isolation for rising up against the state were also present and gave speeches to protesters and the press.

Extreme amounts of tear gas were deployed, in response to which protesters threw rocks and Molotov cocktails at armored vehicles.
