Dozens of protesters marched in La Serena during a national mobilization after the murder of a Panguipulli street juggler by Chilean law enforcement known as Carabineros. Demonstrators blocked roads and built barricades, setting fires to disrupt activity in the city.

Protesters in Zurich, Switzerland, gathered in solidarity with Dimitris Koufontinas, a former member of the 17 November left-wing urban guerilla who entered a hunger strike on the 8th of January to demand his return to the old Korydallos prison in Athens, where he will once again be able to see his family.
Protests have calmed down, although they are likely to flare back up after a massacre of protesters in Bogota on which there is currently no information. The indigenous people of Cauca in the Misak ethnicity took down a conquistador statue on the 17th as well.
Dozens of protesters gathered in the Athens neighborhood of Petralona in remembrance of Shehzad Luqman, a migrant worker from Pakistan who was stabbed to death in 2013 on his way to work by 2 supporters of the Greek neo-Nazi party Golden Dawn. Despite police harassing the protesters, the march went forward and no arrests were made.
A wave of websites was taken down by several Anonymous groups as a part of the new #OpPeru against the Merino government, considered by many to be a coup. Several ministry websites were taken down, as well as those of the police, army, and Congress.
