Dozens of port workers in Valparaiso took to the streets as part of a nationwide strike, demanding the government passage of the ability to withdraw 10% of a person’s pension fund in direct cash for a 3rd time during the COVID-19 pandemic. Demonstrators lit tires and blocked roads, before riot police arrived, using water cannons and tear gas to disperse the strikers.

Dozens of protesters returned to the streets of Minneapolis for a 2nd day after the police murder of Winston Smith in his car by undercover US Marshals. Demonstrators blocked roads with cars until their tires were slashed by police and towed, after which the crowd burned a dumpster and 10-20 arrests were made.
The Los Angeles People’s City Council (LAPCC) took to the streets after the meeting between civilians and the police department, demanding the defunding of police, as well as the resignation of the current mayor of LA. At least 500 protesters attended the march that lasted for more than an hour.
Hundreds to thousands of demonstrators marched in Lagos at the Tejuosho Area of Yaba, in what many call a 2nd wave of #EndSARS protests. Many mothers of victims of the Lekki Toll Gate Massacre participated in the demonstration, condemning a lack of action by the government in finding the perpetrators.
Hundreds of Yellow Vests gathered in what would be dubbed as ‘Rainbow Bloc’ at the Council of State in solidarity with protesters arrested during the March of Liberties demonstration against the global security law in the previous week. Protesters were blocked from leaving the area by CRS riot police before being allowed through to the l’Amiral de Coligny street. The police then kettled the crowd for 40 minutes, causing many complaints before slowly letting protesters disperse.
