Protesters in the Santiago borough of Lo Espejo burnt barricades after the brutal murder of a woman named Pamela, who was burned alive in the car that she lived in a few days prior. Demonstrators became enraged after police did not try to arrest the person responsible, who still walks out in the open with total impunity.

Carabineros cracked down on protesters in Santiago, attacking independent journalists and arresting a minor for carrying a Mapuche flag while the demonstration had not even yet begun. Chemical water cannons were deployed as well as tear gas that left scars and burns on dozens of protesters.
Around 150 protesters in Portland marched to demand justice for Patrick Kimmons, a victim of police brutality in 2018 whose case was reopened. Demonstrators sang chants against police, prisons, and capitalism as Kimmons’ mother led the march demanding due process for her son.

During the protest, the decision came to arrest the killer cop as to avoid a situation like what happened in Louisville with Breonna Taylor. About 250 protesters took part in the march, which lasted for about 45 minutes.
Dozens of antifascists gathered for a Smash Fascism protest in Olympia, the Washington state capitol, in which slightly larger amounts of and far more aggressive Proud Boys & Back the Blue supporters gathered to attack them. Brawls with both sides using pepper spray quickly broke out. Shots were fired by a Proud Boy, with a protester injured by the bullet.
