Tens of thousands of protesters in Buenos Aires marched for clean water, enough food for soup kitchens, and a universal basic income to be provided by the government of Argentina for the unemployed and informal workers making less than the stipulated minimum wage.

Around 1,500 protesters in the Buenos Aires metropolitan city of Lomas de Zamora took to the streets demanding jobs programs, clean water for neighborhoods, and food for soup kitchens, in the midst of a crisis facing Argentina, with 42% of the population below the poverty line and a 10% unemployment rate. After clashes occurred at the municipal office, demonstrators returned to the streets in a peaceful march.
Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Formosa after COVID quarantine was reinstated due to only 30 cases detected, in the northern province already grappled by poverty and draconian restrictions in the beginning of the pandemic.
