More than 50 people protested the development of Hudson Yards in front of it, an extremely expensive and subsidized housing unit, which cost almost $6 billion in taxpayer dollars. The area was also gentrified, with many affluent tenants and shops moving out of the area after housing costs soared.

The Philly Tenants' Union demonstrated against evictions on the 10th, in front of the house of the city council president, who has refused to extend the eviction moratorium in the city, opening the pathway for evictions to occur once again, which would lead to thousands going homeless in the city.
Demonstrators for the Los Angeles Tenants' Union protested in front of the house of Kathryn Barger (Chair of the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors) against evictions that have insofar not been canceled by the Supervisor. They joined forces with Hillside Villa and the Los Angeles Center for Community Law and Action.
An Abolish Homelessness demonstration was held at ~3:00 P.M. in New York, around 53rd St. and 7th Ave. The goals of the protesters were to house the homeless with the empty hotels that exist all around the city, with no guests amid the COVID-19 pandemic. 11 protesters were arrested inside of the Sheraton hotel, and are expected to be released later.
