Protesters in Bogota took to the streets on the anniversary of the 2019 General Strike, mourning the death of 18-year-old Dilan Cruz. Cruz was hit by a tear gas canister in the head and later died in a coma. Protesters marched from the 26th street to the University of Bogota, where they clashed with police and threw Molotov cocktails.

Demonstrators placed burned barricades, facing off with police but with no arrests occurring in a rare turn of events.
