Protesters in Bogota took to the streets on the anniversary of the 2019 General Strike, mourning the death of 18-year-old Dilan Cruz. Cruz was hit by a tear gas canister in the head and later died in a coma. Protesters marched from the 26th street to the University of Bogota, where they clashed with police and threw Molotov cocktails.

Dozens of protesters in Tacoma gathered hours after the attempted murder of several spectators of street racing by a police officer in a cruiser, who had arrived to respond to a report of 1 person hit by a car doing donuts. Evidently, this was an inefficient practice as the police officer hit more than 8 people, and ran over one, causing nearly fatal injuries. 2 people were arrested by police at the demonstration for disorderly conduct.
Around 400 Indian feminists and members of womens’ organizations gathered in front of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, demanding equal pay for equal work, women’s safety & other related issues. Police cracked down on the peaceful demonstration, making several arrests and injuries.
Portland protesters on night 200 made it to the top of the Portland Police Association (PPA), a prominent police union building, placing a guillotine on top as well as a banner calling for the union’s abolition.
Thousands of protesters in Bucaramanga took to the streets for a 4th consecutive day in opposition to an increase of taxes on basic goods and services and the privatization of hospitals. Police attacked the demonstration with tear gas and stun grenades, with clashes continuing throughout the day at the Industrial University of Santander.
