Hundreds of protesters marched in Seattle for a joint Black Lives Matter & Cancel Rent protest, demanding that all unpaid rent during the pandemic be forgiven due to the economic hardship in the United States. Organizers also demanded the abolition of the Seattle Police Department, well-known for its brutality.
