Protesters in Portland gathered outside of the ICE facility in the city with shields in black bloc, which were later proven to be handy when police opened fire with pepper balls and rubber bullets. Few protesters were arrested, and the unshielded were injured by pepper balls.

Hundreds of protesters gathered in the cities of Port-au-Prince and Cap-Haïtien to demand the resignation of President Jovenel Moise, whose mandate is seen by many as illegal, as, by the public, he is seen as an imperialist-backed dictator who funds paramilitaries to keep the streets clean of opposition. Demonstrators burned American flags in condemnation of the country’s support of Moise, calling for democratic elections and a free press.
50,000 protesters gathered at the Alameda, demonstrating against the Piñera presidency and demanding the resignation of the government. Many ensuing clashes occurred, with chemically-tainted water cannons deployed against the demonstrators. Despite not arriving at the presidential palace, protesters remained undeterred and stayed beyond nightfall.
