About 50 Black bloc protesters in Washington D.C. gathered to demonstrate against police brutality in the city, calling for the abolition of the DCPD. The police department has recently received much criticism for their handling of the murder of 18-year-old Deon Kay, upon which there was a lack of investigation.
DHS Police and ICE agents cracked down on an Abolish ICE protest in Portland but making dozens of mistakes in the process. Several (estimated 3) tear gas canisters went off inside a DHS agent's backpack, and many police accidentally hit each other while opening fire on the crowd with pepper balls and rubber bullets. About 50 people attended the protest.

From a small movement that had hundreds of protesters, thousands of demonstrators marched through Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, and other cities. Protesters also attacked the motorcade of a governor whose police forces had killed several unarmed and peaceful protesters.

Thousands of demonstrators took part in the march to the Port where the blast occurred, condemning the government for its failure to handle the explosion and its aftermath.

Demonstrators venerated at least 20 names this night, including many who were killed recently by live bullets during protests. Anonymous also participated, taking down the Central Bank website.
