Hundreds of demonstrators in Antofagasta returned to the streets demanding the immediate amnesty for the political prisoners of the 18th of October Uprising in Chile, setting barricades across the city and blockading roads as the country moves into the 2nd day of the national mobilization demanding the resignation of the current president.

Dozens of protesters gathered in Paris in solidarity with migrants being evicted from their camp by the French police, with many being assaulted, a journalist among them. Police violently tore up tents as protesters chanted ‘No Justice, No Peace!’ After police exited the area, activists and migrants cheered them off, before returning to tear-gas and attack activists and refugees.
Over 2000 people gathered at Syntagma Square in front of Parliament in Athens in solidarity with the Dimitris Koufontinas hunger strike, leaving police extremely confused after being undermanned due to claims that the demonstration had been hastily unplanned. Clashes continued between Chilean government forces and indigenous insurgents in the region of Araucania, with Mapuche groups reclaiming ancestral land and sabotaging assets of extractivist companies contributing to deforestation.
More than 15 ports went on strike across Chile against the presidency of Sebastian Piñera, alongside many workers in Antofagasta among other regions. The already-striking Barros Luco hospital staged a solidarity protest, marching to the Presidential Palace, with many other medical workers taking to the streets as well.
