Hundreds of antifascists marched through Hamburg in protest against the trial of many arrested during the Anti-G20 riots in Rondenbarg in 2017, in which a total of 88 people were indicted for rioting. Over 3200 people were in attendance, with police unable to kettle the crowd.
A protest took place in New York, around City Hall in the intersection of Centre and Chambers. Organizers demanded justice for Jonathan Price, another black man killed by police in Wolfe City, Texas. After the first wave of protests, Price’s killer was arrested.
Thousands of protesters in Asunción returned to the streets for a 2nd consecutive day to demand the resignation of the President after the collapse of Paraguay’s healthcare system, with elective surgeries such as appendix removal shut down altogether and medicine at a critically low supply. Anarchists protested alongside striking medical workers at the Evangelismos hospital in Athens, demanding food, housing, education, and healthcare for all, a stance also approved by many doctors’ unions. Demonstrators also distributed flyers and hung a banner at the facility’s fence.
