Nigeria has a highly corrupt political climate, with a stable social & political elite who remain in the country nearly all the time. Revolution Now aims to bring an end to Nigeria’s political elite and entrenched corruption. Some protests had been planned in August, but none gained very much popularity or momentum. The movement now is supercharged mostly because of the devolution of the economic situation for the country’s poorest and a recent energy price hike.
