Protesters in Minneapolis took to the streets in a crowd of about 100 people, clashing with police with 14 arrests occurring. Neighbors exited their homes and began to verbally clash with police officers, defending the demonstrators and stating that the police caused larger unrest by provoking fights.

Despite a heavy buildup of police forces at the site, no arrests were made and protesters successfully shut down the area.
