Around 45 protesters in Lamia marched in solidarity with the Dimitris Koufontinas hunger strike, demanding the Greek government accept the demands of the former member of 17N to be returned to his old cell at the Korydallos prison in Athens.
Hundreds in Santiago marched in honor of Itan and Tamara, both children being victims of gun violence in Chile, one killed by stray bullets from an unknown assailant and another by police during a gunfight. Demonstrators marched to the La Moneda presidential palace, asking why police resources were spent attacking protests instead of stopping gun violence.
Around 1000 protesters in Bristol returned to the streets in opposition to a law that would expand police powers, restrict the right to protest, and also criminalize a nomadic lifestyle. Police brutally attacked the protesters, injuring many and deploying horses and dogs against the peaceful demonstrators.
