Around 150-200 students in Patras took to the streets to decry a law passed by the Ministry of Education, creating a university police force in Greece which would exist for the first time since the fall of the military junta in 1974 after a failed annexation of Cyprus and a student uprising.
Over 10000 protesters in Berlin gathered in Neukölln, demanding an immediate reversal to the overturning of a court ruling abolishing the Mietendeckel, a rent cap set to stop high prices and gentrification in the city. Police assaulted several demonstrators but were overpowered by the crowd and forced to retreat in due time.

Police abandoned a previously heavy-handed strategy and allowed the crowd to disperse peacefully without tear-gas or munitions.
