Hundreds of protesters in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center took to the streets for a third consecutive day, demanding the prosecution of the officer who murdered 20-year-old Daunte Wright, an unarmed black man. Police launched an exorbitant amount of munitions, firing tear gas and rubber bullets as well as crowd control grenades at the crowd.
Around 150-200 protesters in Philadelphia took to the streets to demand justice for Daunte Wright, an unarmed black man murdered by police in Brooklyn Center, Minneapolis. Demonstrators blocked traffic and moved through the city center before dispersing without arrests made.
Dozens of protesters gathered in Columbus in the aftermath of the police murder of a man in a hospital, in which police shot the seemingly unarmed man as he attempted to escape the facility. Police attacked the demonstration, pepper spraying the frontline of protesters and making one arrest.
Dozens of protesters in Portland gathered at the Portland Police Association building in the city's north, torching part of the building and burning the door. After riot police arrived on the scene, failing to make any arrests, demonstrators traveled to the ICE facility, also setting fires at the site before dispersing.
