Thousands of protesters descended on Plaza Dignidad and the Presidential Palace in Santiago on a day of national mobilization against the right-wing presidency of Sebastian Piñera, as part of the Estallido Social (Social Outbreak) that has gripped Chile since the 18th of October in 2019. Police responded with heavy repression, using water cannons & tear gas, but ultimately failed to quell the demonstration.

Hundreds of Palestinians in Umm al-Fahm in the northern West Bank rioted with Molotov cocktails, petrol bombs, and other explosives after the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) shot and killed 22-year-old Muhammad Nasser Agbaria while he was parking his car in an anti-violence protest. The IDF deployed water cannons against the protesters, making 4 arrests.
Hundreds of Slovanian anarchists & autonomists took to the streets of Ljubljana after the eviction of the Rog autonomous factory, demanding that the state halt eviction of squats as well as of civilian homes during the pandemic. Police deployed tear gas against the demonstration and arrested several protesters, forcing the rest to disperse.
