Government forces responded with extreme brutality, opening fire on the crowd with live ammunition and running over a protester.

Hundreds of protesters gathered in the Peruvian capital of Lima, demonstrating against police impunity after 3 people were killed in a single day of farmers blockading the Panamerican highway. Organizers demanded charges for the killers and justice for the families of the murdered farmers at the agricultural strike.
Dozens of protesters returned to the streets of Hillah in the Babylon governorate, in defiance of the recent crackdown on protesters by the Iraqi government during the anti-corruption protests that began in October 2019; security forces have killed over 600 people via sheer brutality and the indiscriminate use of live ammunition for over a year as a form of crowd control.

Thousands of Kurds took to the streets in Paris, demanding justice on the 18th anniversary of the triple murders of pro-PKK Kurdish activists in France, who were all found shot in the head execution-style. Many suspect that the MİT ([Turkish] National Intelligence Organization) was to blame for the murders, including French authorities themselves, who later caught the 34-year-old Ömer Güney, a maintenance worker in the Charles de Gaulle airport, with substantial evidence.
Indigenous activists and allies gathered near Palisade, Minnesota, to protest against the Line 3 Tar Sands Pipeline, marching down the Great River Road to the construction site, where speeches were given out and dances were performed. Later, protesters drove 45 minutes at a 2nd construction site, shutting down activity before sheriffs swiftly arrived and arrested several.
Hundreds of protesters gathered in front of the 1st Precinct in Minneapolis, demanding justice for both Jacob Blake and Dolal Idd. Jacob Blake was shot 7 times in the back in August by police, which led to massive riots in Kenosha; the District Attorney recently stated that no charges would be placed against the police. Dolal Idd was a 23-year-old son of Somali immigrants, and was killed in a confrontation with police in Minneapolis, also sparking large protests.
Hundreds of protesters gathered for a People's March near the Minnesota governor's mansion in St. Paul, demanding “Cash not covid”, “Community not cops”, “People not pipelines”, and “Politics without Proud Boys”. Several signs were seen demanding justice for Dolal Idd, as well as in opposition to the Line 3 Tar Sands Pipeline.
Hundreds of antifascists gathered in San Diego to counterprotest a pro-Trump rally going on in Long Beach, clashing with both Proud Boys and police who were far more aggressive towards the anti-Trump side. Pepper spray was used by several sides, with injuries occurring in sporadic fights that took place throughout the confrontation.
