150 Portland Protesters March to Abolish ICE

Around 150 protesters took to the streets of Portland’s Pearl District to demand the abolition of Immigration & Customs Enforcement, a widely hated agency in the United States due to its job of carrying out deportations. The local USCIS office was covered in graffiti, and a police car was smashed in before law enforcement arrived on the scene, arresting 2 people and attacking a journalist.

British Police Attack Vigil for Sarah Everard in Brighton

Police in Brighton attacked a vigil in remembrance of Sarah Everard, a British woman murdered by a police officer weeks earlier before her body was found and charges were laid. 3 women were arrested at the vigil, with a heavy law enforcement presence in the area.

Hundreds Protest in Denver Against the War & Genocide on Tigray

Hundreds of protesters gathered at the Colorado State House in Denver, demanding that the United States intervene in the Ethiopian-Eritrean war and genocide on the breakaway Tigray nation. As of now, thousands of civilians have been killed and over 60,000 refugees have fled to Sudan, with an unknown amount in other countries. Many allegations have been made of rape, looting, and bombing of civilian targets as well, perpetrated by Eritrea as well despite Tigray being in Ethiopia.
