Thousands of protesters in Bogota took to the streets in opposition to healthcare privatization and police violence amid a general strike ongoing in Colombia. Despite the vast majority of demonstrations being peaceful, police brutally cracked down across the capital city, using chemical weapons and at times live rounds.
On the 26th of September, the Proud Boys organized rallies in Portland, getting a crowd of ~150 heavily armed men, mostly white. Antifascist organizations in the city quickly heard about the planned rallies and responded by organizing their own, both of which had turnout in the thousands.
About 15 Trump supporters in Philadelphia turned out at an anti-mail in protest, with about 100 counterprotesters arriving at 8 A.M. No clashes occurred, although many confrontations did, with counterprotesters dancing for hours on end to keep the Trump rally occupied.
Dozens of Irish Catholics gathered in the Springfield Road area of west Belfast in reaction to previous violence caused by Loyalist groups upset with the creation of the North Ireland Protocol. Police used water cannons on the crowd but failed to put down unrest for another few hours.
